Congratulations Kelly and Dave!

My cousin Kelly got married last week in Tahoe. We didn't go the wedding, as it was just the two of them, but you can see from the picture that it was beautiful!! They had a reception at their home this past weekend. Congrats to the Newlyweds, Kelly & Dave!

Fun At School

My friend Dawn took these pictures and e-mailed them to me. She made little school buses out of twinkies and gave them to each of the kids. Apparently Natalie was taking the marshmallow wheels from each kids school bus and eating them herself (she didn't even touch the twinkie). The teachers got a kick out of that. Seaworld

Our friends, Mike and Tina, and their son, Will, met us in San Antonio and we all went to Seaworld together on Saturday. The kids had a great time and loved Shamu.
All of us at the start of our day at Seaworld.

Natalie wanted to hold hands with Mike and Tina all day...she normally won't do that, but we were happy to let them take on 2 kids while we walked along by ourselves!

Shamu!!

I took this during the little ski show...Natalie was taking a nap, but Will loved this show!

Feeding the dolpins...Natalie liked to feed them, but would just drop the fish in the water.

Stacey and her family were in San Antonio as well, as Drew now goes to college there. We got to hang out with them some, and Natalie is always happy to see them!

We had a great trip and Natalie is still asking to go see Shamu all of the time...guess we'll have to go back soon!

Road Trip to San Antonio

Last weekend, we left on Friday and drove to San Antonio for the weekend. We got there a lot faster than I thought we would so we went to the zoo on Friday afternoon. It was a very nice zoo and Natalie had a good time looking at the animals.
Natalie...the butterfly.

This sheep was really funny. He was standing on the ground and jumped up at Natalie...she kept asking to go back and see him again.

This was a little statue at the front of the zoo. Natalie wasn't ready to go so she played on this for while before we left.

The Pumpkin Patch

After we got home from Tennessee, my dad and Phoebe stopped by for their fairly regular Sunday afternoon visit. After they left, we took Natalie to a little Pumpkin Patch to pick out some pumpkins, which we carved so nicely but unfortunatley rotted a few days later! Natalie liked the Pumpkin Patch though!

On To Memphis

After the funeral services in Gallatin, we drove back to Memphis to spend a few days with my Aunt Betty. Natalie was very excited to play with my cousin Collins' son Chandler and Lorry's kids Katie and Justin. We had a great time in Memphis and the weather was beautiful there!

Still watching Elmo...just decided to get a little more comfortable!

Aunt Betty hid some little pumpkins for Natalie and Chandler to find...they loved that.

Our Trip to Tennessee

My grandmother's sister past away a few weeks ago, so Natalie and I flew to Tennessee for her services. Aunt Babe, as she was called, was 90 years old and led a pretty amazing life to say the least. We went to visit every summer for a lot of years when I was younger and I always looked forward to the trip...I have a lot of great memories of her and her family.
This is the back of Aunt Babe's house...also the house where she and my grandmother were born.

The kittens on the back porch that Natalie tried so hard to catch.

The only kitten that would allow Natalie to pet her.

Natalie loved the farm where my Aunt Babe lived. There were so many animals she thought that she was at a zoo, even asking once where the hippos were!

The goats on the farm.

Natalie liked to look at the cows.

This was taken at the funeral service...I just liked this picture.

Natalie and I had a great time visiting with everyone (despite being there for a funeral) and we look forward to going back soon!
