My friend, Wendi, and I turned 30 last year and swore we were going to take some sort of trip together, but never quite got around to it. So my college roommate, Lisa, called me and said that she wanted to do something for her 30th birthday, which is coming up in April. After throwing around a few options, we decided on a ski trip to Keystone, Colorado. It was a trip that was sort of thrown together last minute, but we had a great time. We spent 2 days skiing and it was VERY cold, but we still had a great time. My dad is an airline pilot and was in Denver doing some training, so on top of skiing, we got an opportunity to fly in a Boeing 777 simulator...now that doesn't happen everyday!!! It was really cool (and quite amazing the things that those airplanes can do)!!
